2. Friends of KGHP Business Plan:

Note - Though we still want the school district to keep, the station, the business plan will be for the transfer of license to our organization. As always, try to think outside the box based in reality.

Things to look for in a business plan:

1. KGHP is separated into these: Community, Education, and Emergency. We may have to focus these into different parts.

a.) Community - KGHP broadcasts items as a public service to the community including community events, etc. It's a full running radio station treated as a business.

b.) Education - KGHP provides broadcast education to the public. We need to think of ways to expand the education outside of the scope of just the school district. Other school districts? Colleges? Private schools? Homeschoolers? Or do we become a private school?

c.) Emergency - KGHP provides emergency information to the public.

2. Marketing strategies (in each category). How can we get more people to tune in?

3. Funding to keep the station alive. Ideas for funding? Memberships? Corporate Sponsorships? We would be able to get sponsorships outside the Gig Harbor-Key Peninsula area.

4. Relocation (Real Estate) - We would have to relocate the facility (maybe not the transmitters/translators). Hoping for at least a donation, but do we buy, lease and what space do we need?
